Tucker Carlson mocks BTS for speaking out against hate crimes against Asia

Tucker Carlson seems to oppose a popular Korean boy gang that joins forces with the White House to condemn anti-Asian hate crimes in the United States

The Fox News presenter mocked the Biden and BTS administrations on Tuesday after K-pop megastars, who have millions of fans in the United States and around the world, showed up at the White House to raise awareness and talk about growing hate crimes and discrimination against Asian Americans in recent years.

“Things have gone very badly for Joe Biden, both publicly and internally. What are they doing about it? Well, they broke the glass in case of emergency and invited a Korean pop group to speak at the White House today, “Carlson said, broadcasting footage of the appearance.

“Yes, so we have a Korean pop group to discuss anti-Asian hate crimes in the United States. All right. Good job, guys. ”

The Biden administration has been working to tackle the rise in violence against Asian Americans since last year. In May 2021, the president signed the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act after a white gunman killed eight people – including six Asian women – at a massage spa in Georgia in March.

Carlson’s show was titled “What May Be the Most Racist Show in the History of Cable News” in a recent New York Times investigation into how a Fox News host fuels whites’ fears and divisions and directs them to ratings over the years. He has focused his vitriol on immigrants and people of color everywhere.

In 2020, when defenders warned that former President Donald Trump’s racist names for the coronavirus were fueling anti-Asian hatred, Carlson defended the president.
