A man was attacked and injured with a head injury after an argument in front of a corner store.
Merseyside police rushed to Roughwood Drive, Kirkby, around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, after reports of a man found with a head injury on the street. When officers arrived, they found a man about 30 years old and he was rushed to a hospital by Northwest Ambulance.
The attack is believed to have taken place on Gilescroft / Jarrett Road after an altercation at a nearby Roughwood Drive store. The man is in stable condition in hospital.

A 34-year-old man was detained on suspicion of violating public order and weapons, and another man was detained on suspicion of arson. Investigations into the incident continue.
An investigation is underway and house-to-house inspections, video surveillance and forensics are being conducted in the area.
Detective Inspector Neil Fletcher said: “The investigation is at a very early stage as we work to find out what happened. I would ask anyone who was in the Roughwood Drive area around 2:30 pm today who saw or heard something or can help our investigation in some way to contact us. “
