A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being shot several times in the St. James Town area of Toronto on Thursday night.
Toronto police say they were called to Wellesley Street East, between Ontario Street and Rose Avenue, at 10:32 p.m.
They arrived to find a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics took him to a trauma center, where he remains.
Investigators did not provide suspicious information.
