City Street is closed in both directions after a double-decker bus caught fire. A dramatic video from the scene caught flames popping out of the vehicle.
Thick gray puffs of smoke were seen rising from a damaged bus on Stony Lane, near Hob Moore Road, in Yardley this afternoon. The road is closed to traffic for about 16 hours.
Passengers were warned to suspend services 11A and 11C, and bus users were warned of a ten-minute delay in the area.

West Midlands Roads said: “A vehicle is burning on Stoney Lane, just north of Hob Moor Road (Yew Tree junction), closing the road in both directions. Services 11A and 11C are deviating. 10 minutes late. “
