A lucky man from Quebec, who is richer by 70 million dollars, was discovered after he grabbed the golden lottery ticket.
Marcel Lucier, a native of Brosard on the south coast of Montreal, had a feeling after buying his last ticket. Now he is a multimillionaire.
The winner won the news earlier this week when he went to check the numbers online the morning after the draw.
“It was a normal day like any other,” he said. “Without stress.”

Lucie told reporters on Friday that he was unable to verify his ticket because the website loaded him, but quickly learned that he had earned a whopping $ 70 million.

He was available to meet Loto-Québec in central Montreal just days after learning he had won the Lotto Max jackpot. He was the only winner of the grand prize.

Lucie, who worked for Hydro-Québec, said he worked in the same building where the announcement was made. “I know this place,” he told reporters.
The environmental engineer has several projects that he hopes to pursue with his new wealth. He is especially interested in history and genealogy.
The new multimillionaire also wants his money back and has already started planning ways to do so with profits.
“Maybe I want to help an entrepreneur rebuild Ukraine,” he said.
Lucie said he also wants to take a cruise with his wife after they had to cancel their last trip due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
