Guerrero scored a single in the 10th inning to lift the Blue Jays to a 7-6 victory over the Orioles on Wednesday at the Rogers Center. It was the first knockout in Guerrero’s career and his fourth hit of the evening, which included a solo home run in the fifth.
Guerrero’s 16th Homer of the year was one of three for Toronto with 13 goals. Theoscar Hernandez and Matt Chapman also deepened.
The victory in the walk saved another great outing from Blue Jess owner Jose Berios, who gave his third consecutive quality start with seven innings on three runs and eight outs.
