“Pharmacists provide basic services to the Calgary people, and the level of violence we see in these robberies is unacceptable,” said a staff sergeant. Rod Harbage of the Calgary Police Robbery Department in a statement. “We remain committed to an in-depth investigation into these alarming and disturbing incidents. We believe that the same two suspects are involved in this recent series of robberies, and once they are located and detained, the cases are expected to decrease.

“In the meantime, we continue to work with pharmacy owners and staff to implement the crime prevention recommendations.”

Anyone who recognizes both, or whoever is a suspect, is asked to contact the CPS at 403-266-1234 or anonymous advice can be sent to Crime Stoppers.
