Edward Lake, father of children killed by Marco Muzzo, dies

A father from Ontario who lost his three young children and father-in-law in a car crash in September 2015 in Vaughn, Ont., Has died.

York Regional Police Chief Jim Maxwin confirmed the death of Edward Lake in a statement posted on social media on Monday night.

“Tonight I was very sad to learn of the tragic death of Ed Lake. The loss to the Neville Lake family is heartbreaking. ” “YRP is with our friend Jennifer and members of both families. Let us find strength to support your community. ”

Late Sunday night, Lake’s wife and the mother of his children, Jennifer Neville-Lake, shared a post on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram with a photo of their children’s grave and a message: “Father’s Day 2022. This should not be real. Can not be.”

Just a day earlier, Neville Lake had announced the breakup of their marriage to a local Facebook group for mothers.

“I’ve been pretty quiet lately, a reader rather than an active member. There was a lot here, including acknowledging the loss of my marriage, “she wrote.

In the publication, she also commented on how “unjust (the world) is”, as a drunk driver Marco Mutzo would be released from prison after serving two-thirds of his 10-year sentence that day. Muzzo received full parole on February 9, 2021.

“My multiple life sentences will never end,” Neville Lake said.

Daniel, 9, Harrison (Harry), 5, and two-year-old Milagros (Millie) Neville-Lake, along with their 65-year-old grandfather Gary Neville, died in the collision, which also resulted in serious injuries to Jennifer’s mother and grandmother.
