It seems that the levels of Lake Okanagan have begun to rise.

As of Sunday, Lake Okanagan was 342,628 meters.

From Monday at 11:25 in the morning the level of the lake dropped by one millimeter to 342,627 meters.

The lake remains above a full pool (342.48 meters).

Data from the BC River Forecast Center predict that tributaries in Lake Okanagan are expected to continue to decline.

According to Environment Canada, rain is forecast for Tuesday, but is unlikely to be enough to significantly affect water levels.

Debris on the shore of the lake should remain in place until water levels recede to protect the shore from erosion.
