CHICAGO (WLS) – Illinois voters went to the polls Tuesday for the primary to select their candidates for governor, secretary of state and many other federal, state and local offices.

The current candidate, JB Pritzker, won the Democrats’ nomination for governor. U.S. Sen. Darren Bailey is expected to win the Republican nomination for governor.
The candidates for governor of the Republic of Illinois were the most watched race of the night, but there are also primary elections for the US House of Representatives, Senate, Illinois and Senate, Secretary of State, local services and judges.
According to ABC News, Sean Kasten is expected to win the Democratic nomination in the 6th Congressional District.
According to ABC News, Delia Ramirez is expected to win the Democratic nomination in the 3rd Congressional District.
