LONDON, June 30 (Reuters) – Britain and the West must ensure that they have a balance in their relations with China and are ready to oppose Beijing where necessary, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Thursday.
“We have huge economic relations with China … but at the same time we need to understand that there are areas where we have to compete, compete and sometimes challenge what China is doing,” Johnson told a news conference at the meeting. at the NATO summit in Madrid.
