POLICE officers have issued a public appeal for a man who has gone missing from the Purbeck area.
Scott Deakin, who is 37, was reported missing at around 8.30pm on Friday July 1 but was last spoken to in Harmans Cross on Thursday June 30 at around 4pm.
He is described as white, five feet eight inches tall, of an athletic build and with short brown hair and bobbed hair. He usually wears a baseball cap.
Inspector Nathan Liddicott, from Dorset Police, said: “We have searched the area and made a number of inquiries to establish where Scott may have gone.
“We are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare as he has not been seen for three days and we need to make sure he is safe and well.
“Scott may have gone for a walk along the coast, but we have not been able to confirm that.”
