Gary tries a knee, eats a body shot. Gary Jab, green body shot. 1-2-3 buzzes Green, who returns right after him. Gary leads from the right and 1-2. 1-2 more lands clear. It leads to the left of the green. One minute left. Gary punches him. Counter left from Green. Gary lands a knee in the clinch, eats a straight left and low kicks. Quick change. Big combo by Gary in the following seconds. 10-9 Gary.
Round 2: Green looks more urgent, trips from a leg kick. Counter 1-2 from Gary, header attempted. He just misses with a headbutt, tries a combo behind it, gets stabbed in the eye. Back to the action in a minute. Gary with a head kick and a few counters as Green continues to try to chew on his lead leg. Gary ties up and they jostle for position. The inside trip puts Gary on top and he moves to the right to go up in two minutes. Green gets out and looks for shots of his own, thwarted by a grab on the fence from Gary. Green holds on to the body lock. Two minutes left.
They split up. Knee and 1-2 from Gary, then another right. Green motioned for him to continue. The lead remained for him. Gary looks for the knees, lands a straight right and punches. Good exchange on the fence. Green body shot, Garry right on the right. Gary check hook and body kick. Exchanging blows on the fence. Triple low kick by Green. They trade with powerful hands. 10-9 Gary.
Round 3: Green continues to march forward and throw, but Gary sends him to the mat with a clean right hand. Green quickly regains his composure and works his way to his feet, stopping a d’arce attempt along the way. Gary tries the inside trip again and Green grabs a body lock for a minute. Green tries to yank it out but can’t. Steady knee from Gary on the break. Big green swing. In two minutes. Green tries a spinning backfist and eats two pieces in return. Gary countered with a right and punched. Green tries to come back with low shots. 2-1 from Gary. Counter 1-2. Low shots from Green in response. Two minutes left.
The jumping knee seems to land for Gary. A kick in a green body. Clean kicks and crosses landed for Gary. Long uppercut and a leg kick on the retreat. Green still marches after him, just misses and touches. One minute left. Another clean 1-2 from Gary. Green on the left. Gary works behind his shot, staying mobile. They trade in the center to end the fight. 10-9 Gary.

185 pounds: Brad Tavares vs. Dricus Du Plessis
Round 1: Du Plessis throws kicks to start, Tavares avoids them. Du Plessis tries to blitz and is met with either a counter or Tavares’ head, causing him to shoot. Good defense from Tavares. One minute after that. Du Plessis takes an incorrect side drop and ends up on his back in half guard. Short punches by Tavares. du Plessis gets away to the fence, can’t get free for two minutes. Nice belly position when trying to take it down. Tavares avoids an inside rip, gets taken to the fence. Two minutes left.
Parting. Du Plessis charges in and gets into a nasty counter on the right which visibly rings his bell. He manages to turn it into a takedown attempt and put him on the fence. One minute left. Tavares reverses. They are separated with 20 seconds to go. Spin attempt by Du Plessis which is stopped by the tee. 10-9 Tavares.
Round 2: Both throw kicks to start. Counter right by Tavares, knee by Du Plessis. Big blitz from Du Plessis. A hard cross from the right opens up Tavares and Du Plessis follows it up with a header. In a minute. Cycle left. Tavares comes back with a hard kick. Du Plessis wants a jab in the eye, the referee doesn’t stop things. Counter by Tavares, spinning backfist by Du Plessis. Tavares leg kick, Du Plessis blitz. Du Plessis landed surprisingly well this round. After two minutes, Tavares goes from a low blow to a body kick. Du Plessis’ header just misses. They trade in the center. A big looping left from Du Plessis who tries to shoot unsuccessfully. Los kick by Tavares and counter 1-2. Two minutes left.
Long 1-2 lands for Du Plessis. He rushes in with an elbow and the ref warns them to keep their heads. Counter by Tavares. One minute left. Both rock hard. Front kick by Tavares. He hits a check hook, only to be cracked by a right hand and a left hook that sends him to jelly. He survives the circle. 10-9 Du Plessis.
Round 3: They meet in the center and immediately start trading. Both throw good punches and kicks. Big 1-2 from Du Plessis. Head kick by Tavares, then a clean body kick. One minute. Du Plessis 1-2, Tavares counter right and leg. 1-2-3 stings Tavares, who comes back with a counter kick and a front kick. Body kick by Du Plessis. He flashed to answer a low kick. In two minutes. Spinning fist lands for him, Tavares eats it and comes back with punches. Body kick by Tavares, met by a left hook downstairs. He fires a jab and eats a straight in return. Two minutes left.
Tavares does well behind his jab, but the big shots come from Du Plessis. There are some hard rights from “Stillknicks” and a kick behind him. An exchange of blows. Du Plessis lands a left counter and follows it up with a right cross. Jab by Tavares. One minute left. Big jab from Du Plessis, then a couple of monster rights that Tavares somehow absorbs. Another hard lead right, Tavares returns fire. Du Plessis catches him coming in with a pair of knees. 10-9 Du Plessis.
