Video captures the moment a gunman opened fire during a broad daylight ambush that killed a Bronx teenager on a scooter Saturday, police said.
Melvin Urena, 19, was shot about 1:30 p.m. while walking past 429 E. 156th St., cops said. Then two men got out of a late-model gray Honda Pilot and at least one of them fired a gun at him several times, cops said.
The video shows one of the men jump out of the back passenger seat of the vehicle, brandish his weapon, which appears to have an extended magazine, and fire wildly into the street. Another man jumps out of the driver’s side of the car and also raises his hand as if to shoot, but it is unclear if he actually fires a weapon.
