Two people in Washington were killed after a pickup truck crashed into a fireworks display Saturday.
The crash happened Saturday afternoon around 5:30 pm near Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave Northeast and Minnesota Avenue when the driver of a pickup truck ran a red light and hit a bicyclist on a crosswalk.
After hitting the bicyclist, the driver veered off the road and crashed into a fireworks stand, according to police.
The bicyclist and the man behind the fireworks stand, both men, were pronounced dead, police said.

Police said the driver of the vehicle is believed to have had a medical emergency when the crash occurred.
No one else was injured in the incident, the police said.
