Trump attacks ex-White House aide
A member of the House of Representatives committee investigating the riots of January 6 last year at the Capitol revealed that “more evidence is emerging” that supports recent testimony that found that Donald Trump wanted to join an armed mob.
Adam Kinzinger said, “There’s information I can’t say yet.” But he added that “we would certainly say that Cassidy Hutchinson testified under oath, we find her credible.”
Meanwhile, Jan. 6 committee Vice Chair Liz Cheney rejected the idea that prosecuting a former president would inflame political tensions in America. Deflecting potential criminal activity would lead to a “more serious” threat, the congresswoman said.
As speculation of support swings grew, Mr. Trump lashed out at Ms. Hutchinson on the Truth Social and in an interview with Newsmax. Calling her a “freak job”, Mr Trump questioned whether she had actually told the truth under oath. He also claims she asked for a job when he left for Florida when he left the post.
Also, the New York Times reported that Mr. Trump could announce a 2024 White House bid as soon as this month.

Ex-Federal Prosecutor Says Trump Will Be ‘Indicted’
Following Cassidy Hutchinson’s explosive testimony, former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirchner believes the former president will be “indicted” for his role in the January 6 riots at the Capitol last year. “Guns have been smoking all around Donald Trump for years,” Mr. Kirchner said in a video posted on Youtube.
“And for some reason, there are still no criminal charges against Donald Trump. That will change. It must change if we care about the survival of our democracy. He will be charged.”
His remarks followed Ms Hutchinson’s testimony before a House special committee last week.
Mr Trump, meanwhile, condemned her and called her a “complete fake” and even denied many of her claims.

“There will be a lot more information coming and stay tuned,” said Adam Kinzinger.
“There is information I cannot say yet. We would certainly say that Cassidy Hutchinson testified under oath, we find her credible, and anyone who wants to cast contempt on that who was present firsthand should also testify under oath, not through anonymous sources,” he said .
In another interview, another member of the committee, Democrat Adam Schiff, said: “We are following additional leads. I think these leads will lead to new evidence.”

Trump lashed out at Cassidy Hutchinson again
On the Truth Social early Sunday, the former president again lashed out at Cassidy Hutchinson, a Jan. 6 committee witness who exposed a number of nonsense in her recent testimony before the committee.
Mr Trump wrote on Truth Social: “So Cassidy Hutchinson was ready to go to Florida with the Trump team well after January 6th. She knew I had done nothing wrong. She was a big Trump fan, but my people didn’t want her. What happened? Why did she change so dramatically? All lies. I guess even she didn’t believe her own bull…!”
