DETROIT – Local 4 is revealing new information about the accused shooter and his criminal history.
He is 19-year-old Emani Mc Davis and has had other run-ins with the law.
I was able to dig up some disturbing information about the 19-year-old, and she’s dealing with guns again.
I uncovered two incidents at Eastpointe.
It all started in January last year when he was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon in or on a motor vehicle. Davis pleaded guilty and received 12 months probation and an $815 fine.
Sources also tell me that Davis was involved in a situation on June 9 at Eastpoint as he was arrested again on weapons charges.
Local 4 is still trying to figure out exactly what happened in this situation.
I can tell you that an order has been brought to Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office on June 21.

In connection with what happened at Eastpoint, they are seeking four charges
-
Reckless use of a weapon
-
Carrying a concealed weapon
-
Criminal firearm
-
Tampering with evidence
From what I have been able to discover, some evidence was sent to Michigan State Police crime lab and they were waiting for a response from the crime lab.
“Protocol and procedures were followed,” the Macomb County District Attorney said Peter Lucido. “There was no dropping the ball.”
Lucido said it takes time to sign a warrant and they need to review the information and evidence.
I also asked if an AK-47 type weapon was used in the Eastpointe case and he said no.
