Asus is launching the Zenfone 9 today, more than a year after the last flagship. The event starts at 9am New York time/3pm Berlin time/9pm Taipei time and will be streamed live on YouTube.
You can watch it with us as we expect to see the compact Zenfone 9 arrive with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It looks like we won’t be getting a larger flagship with a flip camera this year as rumors have been silent on the matter.
The device has already leaked on a retailer’s site, from which we learned that it will be significantly lighter than its predecessor at just 165 grams. The screen is said to be under 6″ with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole in the upper left corner.
The listing suggested a starting price of around $810/€800 for the 8/128GB variant. The Zenfone 9 will arrive in at least four colors – black, blue, red and white – all with a sandstone finish, according to the renders.
