“It was depressing”

A UK national who moved to Kelowna to enjoy the active lifestyle is devastated after her $7,800 mountain bike was stolen from her garage on Monday.
Bethany Grace says she moved to Kelowna in January and to an apartment on Rutland Road.
She says she was notified yesterday that her bike had been stolen and was able to view security footage that showed several people involved in the theft.
“I found out on Wednesday. It was heartbreaking. It was in the garage and I have a storage locker and it was locked in there. I thought it was safe. They used key chains. I talked to my landlord a bit and also contacted the police. They’re looking at who has the keyring,” she said.
Grace’s bike is a Santa Cruz Nomad mountain bike.
“It’s a rare bike and the size is small so it’s not much. Please help get my bike back,” Grace added.
