The Newfoundland and Labrador federal Liberal group gathered in Battle Harbor to mark $3 million in funding for pier repairs.
Liberal MPs, along with Premier Andrew Fury and Provincial Minister for Labrador Affairs Lisa Dempster met in the community to discuss issues with residents and meet with NunatKavut President Todd Russell.
The trip was originally planned for 2020, but was postponed due to COVID-19.
