Drake’s grand return to Toronto has hit a major roadblock, all thanks to a positive diagnosis of COVID-19.
Drake took to Instagram Monday to let fans know he’s “really devastated” that the show is being postponed … and promised they’ll reschedule it for the earliest possible date. October’s World Weekend — which was also supposed to serve as a Young Money date — was supposed to feature Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.
In his message, Drake also said, “…I hope everyone is safe and well and I love you all. I’m so sorry I let you down during our weekend together and the moment I test negative I’ll give you everything I got on stage (except for the Covid).”
Drake had just partied with Nelly Furtado during Night 2 of the OVO event … with other surprises planned in Toronto.
