Also Sunday evening, police said a “small structure fire” broke out at one of the water slide attractions at Canada’s Wonderland water park. The park was closed on Monday.

A spokesman for York Regional Police told Global News that the fire, which occurred on the west side of the water park, appeared to have started near a “pump building” structure before spreading to a slide and some trees.

The spokesman said the incident may have been started by fireworks.
