Missing teenage girl found safe

Penticton RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 16-year-old female who was reported missing on August 2, 2022 has been located and is alive and well.

Penticton RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing teenage girl who has not been seen since last Tuesday, July 26.

Police received a report that Marissa Frostad was missing on Saturday.

Penticton RCMP said they are concerned for her safety and well-being.

It is believed that Frostad may still be in the South Okanagan area or may have made it to Kelowna.

Frostad is described as:

  • Caucasian woman
  • 16 year old, year old
  • Pink hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Her last known description of clothing was unknown

“If you see this Marissa, please contact the Penticton RCMP or a local police department immediately,” Cst. Dayne Lyons, Penticton RCMP media relations officer, said in the news release.

“We hope members of the public will keep an eye out for Marissa or contact us if you know where she might be.”
