After a police search of a lake in the Laurentians, a 61-year-old Quebec man was found dead Monday morning.
Surete du Quebec said a distress call at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Lac-Theodore north of Morin-Heights said a man entered the water to retrieve some personal belongings but never surfaced.
The local fire service launched a search and called in SQ divers who joined the search with a police boat.
SQ spokesman Alex Deceles confirmed on Monday morning that the man was found lifeless at around 8.30am
