It is such a sad day and yet it is not an unfamiliar day for many who have known or loved someone with addiction… It is important to remember that this woman who was unfortunately active in her illness was also a mother. Her son lost his mother to her disease, as did many others. Out of respect for her son, it’s important to remember that addiction is a disease, not a choice. 🕊️🕊️🕊️
