Seven 7 of the college football season had a lot of potential, a lot of hype going in.
Not only did it reach that potential, but it somehow flew past it faster than a race car on Memorial Day weekend in Indianapolis.
So after Tennessee beat Alabama in what was truly an all-time thriller, TCU beat Oklahoma State in double overtime, and Utah showed its mettle by making it two and late against previously unbeaten USC, how does that leave the college football rankings?
Kirk Herbstreit released his updated rankings of the top six teams after the weekend and they are as follows:
