A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing earlier this evening
Two cordons are in place at Tonge Moor with police and CSI at the scene
Police have taped off an area of Tonge Moor Road and Bleak Street.
Officers say they were called to Bleak Street around 5pm following reports of a stabbing.
Paramedics also arrived at the scene, and a man with serious injuries was taken to hospital.
The injuries are believed to be non-life threatening
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “At approximately 5pm this evening (14 December 2022) officers were called to reports of a stabbing on Bleak Street in Bolton.
“Police and paramedics attended the scene and a man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
“Two scenes remain at Bleak Street and Tong Road while officers carry out their inquiries to understand the full circumstances surrounding this incident.
