Samsung is expanding its 5G portfolio in India with two affordable smartphones – Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G.
Sales will begin on Wednesday, January 18, on Samsung.com via Live Commerce. Other online and offline stores will be offering the smartphones from Friday, January 20.
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G was first launched in September 2022 with a 5000 mAh battery and Snapdragon 695 chipset. It will be sold in India in two memory combinations – 6/128 GB and 8/128 GB, while the color choices are silver, light blue and orange.
Prices are INR 22,999 ($280/€260) and INR24,999 ($305/€285), depending on the choice of RAM, and users can get INR2,000 ($25/€22) cashback with certain bank transactions.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G shares some features with its A23 sibling, such as a 6.6-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 5,000 mAh battery. On top of that, it ships with the latest Android 13 and One UI 5 out of the box. However, here we only have three cameras, a more affordable chipset and less RAM and internal storage.
Available in dark red, light green or black, the Galaxy A14 5G costs INR 16,499 ($202/€185) for the 4/64 GB version, INR18,999 ($232/€215) for the 6/128 GB and INR20,999 ($257/€237) ) for 8/128 GB. Users can get INR 1500 ($18/€17) cashback with bank transactions.
