The Royal Victoria Regional Health Center (RVH) in collaboration with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has declared an outbreak of a gastrointestinal outbreak in the health centre’s specialist geriatric unit.
Six patients were symptomatic. All patients are examined, enhanced purification measures are carried out.
Admission to the unit is currently on hold and visitors are not permitted, but there may be some exceptions.
