The Arizona ticket winner won the $ 473 million Powerball jackpot after a long-awaited draw on Wednesday night, according to the Powerball website.
The winning numbers were: 11, 36, 61, 62, 68 and Powerball 4.
It was not immediately clear where in Arizona the winning ticket or the identity of the person was sold. The winner also has a $ 283.3 million money option.
One ticket sold in Indiana matches all five white balls to win $ 1 million.
Ticket buyers have a chance of 1 in about 25 to win a prize, but a high chance of 1 in 292,201,338 to win the jackpot, according to Powerball.
The Powerball jackpot last hit Connecticut in a draw on Feb. 14, when a single ticket won $ 185.3 million for the lucky winner, according to Powerball.
Powerball holds the world record for the largest jackpot of $ 1.586 billion, which was shared by winners in California, Florida and Tennessee in 2016.
You now have three chances to become a multimillionaire with Powerball every week – Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
The jackpot will now drop to $ 20 million with a $ 12 million cash option for Saturday night’s draw.
