We’ve been talking about it for months, if we’re Jags, we’ll take an offensive lineman here. We love Ikem Ekwonu, but if Evan Neal or Charles Cross are rated higher on their board, get one. The point is to protect Trevor Lawrence. Recent history in Jacksonville has shown that drafts really good rosters in the first round do not immediately mean winning football games. However, keeping your QB franchise upright does it. But we understand GM Trent Baalke has a history of draft features, including long arms, and Walker may be special. We would just like to point out that the same year that Baalke took Alden Smith because of traits, he also passed on to JJ Watt and Cam Jordan.
