New photo of 4 men wanted in the triple shooting in Queens, Mayor Adams to hold a meeting on crime

FRESH MEADOWS, Queens (WABC) – A search began on Friday morning for gunmen in what the NYPD says is a gang-related shooting.

New York police released a photo of the four men who want to be questioned after the shooting on 188th Street on Wednesday afternoon.

You can clearly see one of them with a gun pulled out.

Two 18-year-old men were injured, one of whom was the obvious target.

A 14-year-old girl, also caught in the shooting, has a bullet stuck in her neck.

New York City police are meeting with their senior officials on Saturday to discuss the fight against crime, with an unusual element.

“These criminal plans, what their ideas are, they are specific to each neighborhood, what gangs are in conflict with each other, what is happening, what high school parties are going to happen. We need to know these things to move forward. So I think that’s what it’s about. The unusual thing here is that the mayor will chair it, “said Robert Boyce, an ABC News contributor and former NYPD detective chief.

Meanwhile, Francis Lewis High School students had to go through metal detectors on Thursday.

There, two of the victims attended school.

Police did not find a weapon, but found 20 weapons or prohibited items, which they confiscated from students.

School security agents say they believe the students brought these safety items after knowing two of their classmates were shot.
