Another connection went south.
“Southern Charm” stars Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green have split after two years of dating, according to People.
Insiders told the outlet that Rose had a “real problem with monogamy,” which contributed to the end of the relationship.
“[He] refused to commit to Taylor, telling her he didn’t want to be with just one person and change his lifestyle,’ a source said.
“She’s incredibly hurt, but she knows she deserves a man who will fight for her, not one who’s so selfish,” added another, claiming Rose would “regret this.”
Representatives for Rose, 42, and Green, 27, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The “Average Expectations” writer cheated on Green during last season’s reunion.
“It was an old flame and I kissed a girl on a staircase, but that was it,” he told host Andy Cohen at the time, adding that “there were a few text messages” he had exchanged with another woman.

In an episode that aired this season, Green — who appeared to forgive Rose for those indiscretions — was particularly troubled by his reaction to her pregnancy scare.
“You’re going to high five my pain and misery? You didn’t even ask me how I feel,” she told Rose during a tense scene.
“You just thought, like, ‘Oh no, there was a scare.’ What will I do? Like, you’ve never really said, “If things ever happen, you can trust me.”
Green went on to say that she worries about her future with Rose, admitting that he’s not a “safe bet” for her.
“If I were pregnant, I would want to take the right steps, which would be marriage,” Green said in a confessional, acknowledging Rose’s vocal disinterest in tying the knot. “But I don’t know how much he would step up to the bat, which is really up to you.”

Rose offered a rather cold response to Green’s concerns about the establishment.
“The minute you tell me I have to do something a certain way, I’m going to do the exact opposite… but I want you,” he said.
Rose clashed with Green after he joked about having sex with sharks during a night out at Sullivan’s Island bar in South Carolina. The two became Instagram official in May 2020.
Just days ago, Southern Charm personalities Madison LeCroy and Venita Aspen exclusively told Page Six that they didn’t see Rose and Green walking away.
“Taylor loves Shep more than Shep loves Taylor,” Aspen, 28, said, while LeCroy, 31, agreed, explaining that Green got the “number 1 rule” wrong.
“Always find a man who loves you more,” she advised.
“He’s going to regret it,” another source said of Rose’s decision.relationship/Instagram
Aspen also told us that Green is “head over heels in love” and “would do anything for Shep at any request,” while Rose “is just like, ‘Whatever.'”
Rose previously admitted to Page Six that he and Green had some issues while filming Season 8 of “Southern Charm.”
“[This season] it affected me [relationship],” he said. “It was just hard. I mean, even when you’re shooting, there’s a little bit of anxiety. You want everything to go well, and when you try too hard, things usually end up in your eyes, and that’s what happens. I Saw the Train coming and I just bumped into him instead of walking away from him.
