Members of the burglary and burglary unit and the tactical unit arrested Cordell Miller, 36, around 3 p.m. in the city’s south end, police said.
Miller will spend the night at police headquarters and attend WASH court (weekend and statutory holidays) on Saturday to answer to the charges.
On Thursday, police said they are asking for the public’s help in locating a man they believe may pose a threat to others.
At the time, Miller was already charged with threats to cause death or bodily harm, as well as four counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
“There are concerns for the safety of his victim(s) in relation to incidents of intimate partner violence,” Greater Sudbury Police said in a release.
On Friday, police filed more charges against Miller — before arresting him later in the day — including criminal harassment (repeated contact with an alleged victim), criminal harassment (repeatedly following an alleged victim), assault (intimate partner violence), two counts for failure to comply with a probation order and making threats to cause death or bodily harm.
