Predictions for David Prouton’s Sky Bet Championship Football news

Who tips David Prouton for winning the Sky Bet Championship on Good Friday? Find out here …

Luton vs. Nottingham Forest, 12.30 pm – Live on Sky Sports Football

It looks like Luton may have hit the buffers at the wrong time. Three without a win have now given some hope to teams hoping to take their place in the top six from now until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest is just flying. Five consecutive victories and the team that could make it harder for Bournemouth to take second place. It may be close, but Forrest’s momentum should make them overcome it at Kenilworth Road.

Prutton predicts: 1-2 (Sky Bet odds)

Friday, April 15, 12:00 p.m. Beginning 12:30 p.m.

Birmingham vs. Coventry, 15:00 – live on Sky Sports Football Red Button

Birmingham have scored just one goal in their last five games, which was a penalty and that speaks volumes about their difficulties this season.

Coventry won a fantastic victory at Fulham last weekend to keep his slim hopes for the playoffs alive. Until they finish mathematically, all they can do is keep going. Victory here and you never know.

Prutton predicts: 0-1 (Sky Bet odds)

Bournemouth vs. Middlesbrough, 15:00 – live on Sky Sports Football

Now this is a big, big game. Bournemouth have just suffered a light blow in their last two games and suddenly the threatening presence of Nottingham Forest is on the horizon.

Middlesbrough itself also suffered two defeats at the wrong time. They are still well placed, but need a lot of wins from now until the end of the season to enter the top six. However, I do not see a victory for Vitality. Draw points.

Prutton predicts: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds)

Friday, April 15, 2:30 p.m. Start at 3:00 p.m.

Hull vs. Cardiff, 15:00 – live on Sky Sports Football Red Button

It was a great win for Hull at Middlesbrough last week and should give them some momentum to focus on the final stages of the season. Even if you have nothing to play for, it is always good to try and finish things at a high level.

Cardiff returned well from his horror show against Swansea to beat Reading. Survival has now been confirmed and it is time for Steve Morrison and his country to look ahead. They have shown good character and will face Hull again.

Prutton predicts: 0-1 (Sky Bet odds)

Peterborough v Blackburn, 15:00 – Live on Sky Sports Football Red Button

It’s probably a question of when, not whether for Peterborough now in terms of relegation. This could happen by the end of the Easter weekend, although Grant McCann’s country has shown improvement in recent weeks.

Blackburn just need to win this to have real hope of making their way back into the top six. But I just can’t see it the way they’ve been doing lately. Draw for me.

Prutton predicts: 1-1 (Sky Bet odds)

Sheffield United vs Reading, 15:00 – live on Sky Sports Football Red Button

Sheffield United will be disappointed not to beat Bournemouth last weekend, but they are still largely in control of their place in the playoffs.

Reading still needs to do little to ensure survival, and defeat here can make them sweat again if other results contradict them. In fact, I can’t see them taking anything from Bramol Lane.

Prutton predicts: 3-1 (Sky Bet odds)

Huddersfield vs. QPR, 5.30pm – Live on Sky Sports Football

These are some huge wins lately for Huddersfield. They are close to securing a place in the playoffs and still have half an eye for Bournemouth if the Cherries continue to deviate.

QPRs are in free fall. Their dream of playoffs is almost over after five rebound defeats. Although it would be typical for the championship for the team to appear in any form and win a surprising victory, I can’t see that happening here. Victory for the hosts.

Prutton predicts: 2-0 (Sky Bet ratio)

Friday, April 15, 5:15 p.m. The start is 5:30 p.m.

Derby against Fulham, 20:00 – live on Sky Sports Football

All Derby can really do now is try to win every game until he comes and see what happens, but it is fair to say that survival is unlikely at this stage.

Fulham are almost ready, but they took their eyes off the ball against Coventry last weekend. Marco Silva will be determined not to do this again, and that should be enough to make them cross the border at Pride Park.

Prutton predicts: 1-3 (Sky Bet odds)

Friday, April 15, 7:30 p.m. Start at 8 p.m.

Other Prediction Predictions (All Good Friday home 15:00)
