Hydro One and Public Works crews are still working in the area. Ekblad Road is closed to non-local traffic at Potter Settlement Road and Bridgewater Road due to unnecessary traffic delaying recovery efforts. Everyone is asked to avoid the affected areas. Power restoration information can be found on the Hydro One Storm Center app at hydroone.com
The current fire status is high and there is a significantly increased risk of wildfires as a result of the tornado. Please be extremely careful if you do any burning and check the council website daily to see if a burn ban is in place.
