Montreal Canadiens Stephane Robidas Assistant Coach

The Montreal Canadiens have named Stephane Robidas the team’s new assistant coach, general manager Kent Hughes announced Thursday.

“We are very fortunate to have someone of Stefan’s caliber join our coaching staff. His recent experience as an NHL player and his outstanding hockey experience will be excellent assets to the development of our players,” said Canadiens head coach Martin St.Louis. “Stefan perfectly fits the profile we were looking for in a candidate. As well as being an outstanding personality, he is a very good communicator and I believe the players will relate to him because of that.”
