July 29, 2022 – Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and Chartwell Retirement Residence at Thunder Bay (Arundel Street) confirm that an outbreak of COVID-19 has been reported at the Thunder Bay facility. TBDHU has begun a thorough assessment of the situation. If necessary, additional measures will be taken to address this situation.
Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place to reduce the likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility.
