The NFL 2022 draft is over, with 262 players hearing their names in the last three days. But for those players who have not heard their names called, hope is not lost. Shortly after the draft ended, the teams quickly began to connect with the best college players still available.
Many future NFL stars began their careers as undefeated rookies. The list includes former quarterbacks Kurt Warner, Warren Moon and Tony Romo, Lions legend Dick “Night Train” Lane, legendary Giants defensive back Emlen Tunnel, Viking Hall of Fame omissions John Randall, future midfielder Slato Anto. and former Defender of the Year James Harrison, among others. Who will be the next non-drafted rookie to join this list of NFL greats?
Below is a team-by-team for each signing of a free agent without a draft – including Tyler Sparrow of Boston College, the son of Titans coach Mike Sparrow, landing with the Falcons. Each player will begin the journey by trying to grab either a place on a training team or a place on the regular season roster.
Each signing is a report, not an official announcement from the team.
