A lot of smoke can be seen from a large fire burning in Vancouver on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire at a home in the 7900 block of Columbia Street at 63rd (near Cambie and Marine) appears to have started around 4:30 p.m.
Vancouver firefighters are on the scene trying to put out the flames, whose smoke can be seen from many parts of the city.

Captain Matthew Trudeau of Vancouver Fire and Rescue confirmed to Global News that it was a three-alarm fire involving an apartment building.

It is not yet known how the fire started and whether there were any casualties.
