Suspects in armed robbery fleeing Las Vegas caught in LA after pursuit – NBC Los Angeles

Two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Nevada led California Highway Patrol officers on a high-speed chase from San Bernardino County to downtown Los Angeles on Saturday night.

San Bernardino County CHP officials reportedly began the chase in Barstow sometime after 8 p.m.

The suspects were linked to armed robberies in Henderson, Nevada, but the connection was not immediately made public.

The chase entered Los Angeles County at 8:46 p.m. on West Highway 210, where the suspect vehicle reached a speed of 90 miles per hour and ended with the two men getting out of the car at 9:25 p.m. on South Highway 110 at 8 p.m. Street, said CHP employee Patrick Kimball. The men were seen running through the lanes from south to north. The video shows that a suspect was detained near a garage while searching for a suspect who is believed to have jumped off the highway from a bridge.

The man was lying on the ground with a broken ankle and was taken to hospital, Kimball said. It is unclear whether weapons or stolen property were found.

The names of the suspects have not been released immediately, nor is there a description of the armed robbery.
