A crash has closed a section of the eastbound 401 Freeway.
East Region OPP said earlier today a tractor trailer collided with a stopped vehicle between Shannonville Road and Marysville Road, causing a fire.
Three people were treated at the scene for minor injuries, no one was sent to hospital.
Eastbound 401 between Shannonville Road and Marysville Road remains closed for cleanup and repairs, westbound lane reopened.
Alternative routes are also very busy and there has been at least one collision.
This included a boom truck and camper at the intersection of Blessington and Shannonville roads.
