A 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Vancouver Island.
Earthquakes Canada says the tremor was measured at approximately 12:39 a.m. Monday at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The agency said the epicenter was 142 kilometers southwest of Port Alice, British Columbia, or 348 kilometers from Victoria. The United States Geological Survey measured the epicenter 205 kilometers west of Tofino, B.C.
There are no reports of damage or casualties and no tsunami is expected.
