After a three-year hiatus, Coachella is finally making its long-awaited return today (April 15).
Located in Indio, California, the Desert Festival has gained popularity over the years due to its sleek Instagram-worthy dress code and great sightings of celebrity guests.
Before the pandemic halted large-scale music events, Coachella’s 2019 performers with the highest ratings covered the music spectrum with hip-hop by Childish Gambino, pop by Ariana Grande and alternative indie by Tame Impala.
The biggest names in music will perform over the next two weekends. Starring at this year’s event include Harry Styles, Billy Isle and Swedish House Mafia, with The Weeknd replacing Kanye West, who retired at the last minute.

Coachella organizers are easing restrictions on Covid-19 for this year’s festival
Coachella participants will not be required to present Covid vaccination certificates, negative tests or wear face masks at this year’s festival. However, there will be Covid testing tents on site.
Organizers said removing those restrictions was in line California state health guidelines, adding that they can be restored in the light of changing public health conditions.
This could mean “changes in capacity, attendance procedures and entry requirements”, according to a statement posted on Coachella’s official website.
Although the organizers recommended face covers to protect against desert dust.

Coachella 2022: Set times for all Weekend 1 performances
“Happy @coachella has set a day of concern for all who watch,” joked one person on social media.
Later that day, however, the big bosses of the event finally revealed the full schedule.
Find the full schedule of planned performances for Coachella’s Weekend 1, from Harry Styles’ debut at the big desert festival on Friday at 11:35 pm PT, Saturday’s performance by Billy Isle at 11:30 pm PT, Swedish House Mafia with the performance in the last day of the Weeknd at 10:00: 20 pm PT on Sunday and all the artists in between.
Previously unannounced set by the group Arcade fire also present on the bill, with the band playing at 6:45 p.m. PT on Friday night, April 15th
