“There appears to have been a big change over the last few months in the behavior of the big four supermarkets that dominate UK fuel retail as they are now generally being undercut by independent retailers who are passing on their cost savings to wholesale benefits for pump drivers,” said Simon Williams, RAC fuel spokesman.
