Forest fire in Slokan

A forest fire broke out near the village of Slokan.
According to the BC Wildfire Service Twitter page, BCWS is responding to a wildfire in Slocan Bluffs, located approximately five kilometers from the village of Slocan.
The fire is highly visible from Highway 6 and is estimated to be one hectare in size.
