Motorcycle accident in West K

A one-vehicle motorcycle accident has closed Horizon Drive in West Kelowna.
Castanet began receiving news tips around 6 p.m. that a man riding a motorcycle at high speed had lost control and crashed, potentially hitting a tree and falling down an embankment on the hill.
According to a bystander near the crash, EMS were on the scene and working hard to get the man to safety.
A witness told Castanet that the motorcycle was traveling at a speed that was not safe for the driver and other people on the road.
It is not yet clear whether the man survived the incident.
