Anger while the MP’s aide jokes that he was on the SNP’s “sauce bus”

The AN SNP spokesman has been accused of “insulting” voters after calling the party’s luxury election coach a “sauce bus”.

A grinning Sally Donald poses next to the car shortly before Nicola Sturgeon visits Portobello Beach in Edinburgh to campaign for living expenses on Sunday.

The first minister’s coach is adorned with messages urging the public to “send a message to Boris” to “ease the pressure” on the severely oppressed families.

However, Ms. Donald, who also later posed for a selfie with Ms. Sturgeon, seems to be treating it as a joke, suggesting that this is the SNP version of the sauce train, the easy money tool.

In an already deleted tweet, she was depicted standing by the bus door with the message “Everyone on board the bus with sauce”, followed by the emojis “party face” and “crazy face”.

Ms. Donald, SNP’s Central Edinburgh Women’s Officer, was appointed “Head of Communications” by Livingston MP Hannah Bardel in March.

@Councillor_Ross is in place. The SNP was supposed to pursue independence, but it is not even on the radar of the leadership and their hangers.

That’s why @AlbaParty was and is a necessity. Only when people get it will independence be possible.

Bus or independence?

Lothians Tory MSP Sue Weber said: “This tweet is insulting and humiliating for so many people who are struggling with the cost of living crisis right now.

“It is very typical of the arrogant and arrogant attitude of the SNP after 15 years in power that this man believes that this is an acceptable post in a time of real difficulty.

“Given the amount of taxpayer money that has been wasted on SNP’s many failed projects, I doubt they’ll see the funny side of it.”

Alba MP Neil Hanvi said: “The SNP should have pursued independence, but it is not even on the radar of the leadership and their supporters. Bus or independence? ”
