Police have released the first photos of three killers after a man was chased through the streets of Birmingham and stabbed to death in a revenge attack. Mohib Tasharat, Qasim Ifzaal and Ibrahim Raza were among a group of men who pursued and killed Bashir Mohammed in the early hours of April 22 last year.
The victim was chased by car and on foot through Birmingham before being stabbed in the arm. He bled to death at the scene in Ladywood.
Police have identified 24-year-old Tasharat and 26-year-old Ifzaal as the attackers. Handsworth’s Wenlock Road Tasharat tried to flee the country the next day, but was arrested by Birmingham airport officials.

Shortly before being stabbed at 4.20 am, Mr Mohammed took part in a shooting at Fulham Road, Sparkbrook. The chaos saw a rifle being fired at a house and the front door set on fire.
Bashir Mohammed was killed in a street knife attack
Police said he fled and robbed a car at gunpoint on Ladypool Road in an attempt to escape from a group of men who left the property. They chased the stolen Audi with a Nissan Note, occasionally hitting its rear bumper before both crashed on a lawn near Ashton Croft.
Mr. Mohammed was pushed into a corner in Shiltons Croft by the men – plus others who arrived in more cars – before being stabbed. Audio from a nearby bell camera captured the moment one of the intruders shouted, “I killed him,” before all the men fled.

All three confessed to manslaughter. Tasharat, Ifzaal and Raza were sentenced to 11, ten and six and a half years respectively on April 29th.
A fourth man, Nabil Akhtar, was acquitted. Child Inspector Laura Harrison said: “There was obviously a dispute between the two groups that we think escalated when a car intentionally crashed into a dessert shop on Ladypool Road last May.
“We believe this caused the burning of a house in Fulham Road. The shocking consequences of this, Mr. Mohammed was persecuted and stabbed to death.
“These men chased the victim for several minutes in cars and were determined to cause him serious damage.
A 27-year-old man suspected of blowing up petrol at Fulham Road’s house before being stabbed must be tried for arson and possession of a weapon at a later date.
