A man dies after an attack on a park in Forks

A 27-year-old man has died after being attacked at The Forks Park in Winnipeg, police said.

Police went to Israel’s Asper Way Park to investigate a report of the attack shortly after 10 pm on Tuesday.

They found the wounded man and provided him with emergency medical care until paramedics arrived and took him to hospital in critical condition.

The man, identified as Kyle James Krake, has been pronounced dead at the hospital.

No arrests have been made.
